The Nomad SA-17 cigar was born from a 2014 collaboration between Fred Rewey and AJ Fernandez. The “SA” in the name stands for San Andres, referring to the Mexican San Andres wrapper leaf used to encase this medium-full bodied smoke. Rewey used his popular 2014 C-276 blend as a foundation when crafting the complex SA-17 filler and binder of Nicaraguan tobaccos.

When lit, the SA-17 treats enthusiasts to lush and earthy flavors of pepper, mocha, cedar and dried fruit. The smoke texture is smooth yet packing plenty of brute force behind its medium-full punch. Well-fermented Nicaraguan long fillers provide a bold, rustic backbone while the San Andres wrapper lends sweet spices and a subtle richness. Hints of dark chocolate mingle with cedar, black pepper and leather on the velvety finish.
