The Arturo Fuente Opus X Lost City cigar was created after actor Andy Garcia filmed scenes for his movie “The Lost City” at the Fuente family’s Château de la Fuente in the Dominican Republic in 2004. To accommodate shooting during the summer months, the Fuentes planted a special crop of tobacco just for the film. After wrapping the movie, Garcia suggested they make a special cigar from that tobacco to commemorate the experience, with proceeds benefiting the Cigar Family Charitable Foundation’s educational initiatives.
